My neighbor took a picture very like this painting but with yellower horizon and with the bristlecone pine darker or in silhouette like the middle ground landscape.
I loved the colors and thus painted my version of it which contains more detail of the pine bark and a variation of the sky.

I HAVE BEEN PAINTING SINSE 2009. I HAVE ALWAY'S ENJOYED ART BUT LIFE GOT IN THE WAY AND I NEVER PURSUED IT UNTILL AFTER MY RETIREMENT IN 2007. I CONTINUE TO PAINT WITH MY OWN DESIRE TO COMPLETE THE NEXT PICTURE.
